About Us

Vehicle Scenes was founded by small business owners who experienced first-hand the value of advertising with vehicle wraps. When Create My Scene, Inc. was a small company starting out in Tampa, FL, it utilized wrapped cars to spread its message. The response to the vehicles was overwhelming, and the owners realized they were onto something. At the time, Create My Scene was focused on creating decorative solutions using printed vinyl applications. The company designs, prints, and installs custom vinyl wall coverings, window coverings, and screen patio murals.

Therefore, the decision to extend the Create My Scene brand into vehicle wraps was a natural step for the company. The company’s founder, Robert Leesman, graduated from the University of Florida with degrees in Advertising and Business. He also has an extensive background in outdoor media. His experience as an account executive for Clear Channel Outdoor meshed together with his education in the field of advertising has brought a strong influence into the Vehicle Scenes board room.

The success of Vehicle Scenes hinges on providing advertising solutions rather than “a sign” to customers. Many “sign shops” offer vehicle wraps only because they have a printer and a computer, not because they know anything about the business. Vehicle Scenes is dedicated to providing customers with an unforgettable buying experience as well as a wrap that will make their business hard to ignore.

Vehicle Scenes takes the time to educate clients on all advertising media. It is essential to help clients compare their Vehicle Scene purchase to other media expenditures such as TV, radio, newspaper, magazines, yellow pages, and billboards. Vehicle Scenes has compiled an assortment of valuable research on the car wrap industry. Typically, a wrapped vehicle will generate more exposure than most major media outlets for less money. This is why Vehicle Scenes believes that the wrap industry will soon be included in the list of major media outlets. A Vehicle Scene is so much more than another sign for a business; it’s a form of advertising that is so effective, that the other outlets such as radio, TV, newspaper, etc. use it themselves! Our goal is to provide the nation’s best experience and most cost effective advertising solution to each and every one of our customers.

Accepted Software:
Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress and Corel Draw.

Accepted File Extensions:
psd, .ai, .ind, .qxd, .crd, .eps, .tif, .jpg, .pdf, .sitx, .zip, .sit, .rar, .psb, .ps, .raw

File Size:

• Build at a 1” to 1’ Scale or a Specified Ratio such as a 1:4 Ratio (3“ = 12”)
• We recommend setting the pixels per inch to a number that allows the file size to be between 200 and 250 MB

Color:

• CMYK and RGB colors are excepted. Do not mix the two
• Solid blacks should be set to 70% Cyan, 65% Magenta, 65% Yellow, and 100% Black
• If color matching is required, provide color accurate prints and Pantone Solid
• Coated numbers if PMS colors are required. If color matching to a non-PMS color is required, a sample swatch of that color must be provided

Fonts:

• Please include separate file for all fonts used in the design or convert all text to outlines, curves or paths
• Mac users: always convert text to outlines; if not done, your order may be delayed

Vehicle Templates:

• We offer many vehicle templates which are available in Illustrator and Photoshop formats
• If templates are unavailable, we may use digital pictures of the vehicle along with manual measurements

Images and Photos:
All images and photos should be at least 150 dpi at print size. Preferred file formats are .tiff, .eps, or .psd
